  Dive Logbook
A diver records information about dives into a logbook. This information helps track your progress toward different levels of recognition within the SSI system

  Buoyancy Compensator
Buoyancy Compensators, also known as BC’s help controls the diver’s buoyancy in the water. Most BC’s on the market today are weight integrated, providing more comfort and convenience both in and out of the water.

  Regulator Set
Regulators allow divers to breathe underwater.  They regulate the air flow from the tank, and reduce it to a breathable pressure.  The components of the regulator set are the first stage, second stage, alternate air source and gauges.  The gauges tell us how deep we are underwater, and how much air we have in our tank.

  Dive Computer
Dive computers allow divers to stay underwater longer by monitoring theoretical nitrogen absorption. They can be worn on the wrist or mounted into your gauge console.
