Advanced Open Water
April 22nd and
April 24th
6:00-9:00 p.m. $199.00
SSI's Advanced Diver rating
stands alone in the industry with the highest combination of diving knowledge
and experience. To earn the certification for Advanced Open Water Diver,
you must complete 4 specialty courses and have done a total of 24 dives.
Our
Advanced Open Water Course includes deep,
wreck, night and navigation. These courses will be taught over a two
day period starting at 6:00pm at Dolphin
Dive Center.
We will also have a pool session
at the YWCO on Sunday May 4th at 6:30 p.m.
Stress and Rescue
April 29th and
May 1st
6:00-9:00 p.m. $199.00
Stress is a major
contributor to rescue situations and diving accidents. You can improve your diving confidence and
enjoyment by learning to recognize situations that lead to problems and to
handle problem situations with special techniques.
Learn the basics of:
· The causes and
prevention of stress
· Detecting and
dealing with diving-related stress in yourself and your buddy
· Accident
management procedures
·Rescue skills
that assist the victim, while protecting yourself
· Simple, yet
effective search patterns
· Dealing with
situations that complicate rescues
Join us in the classroom
Tuesday and Thursday night at Dolphin
Dive Center
for quality instruction. Then join us at
the pool for training on Saturday May 3rd at 6:30pm.
Stress and Rescue also
requires an open water training session. We will be diving at Lake Jocassee
on Saturday May 18th, which you are welcome to get checked off on this at that
time. We will further discuss this during your classroom instruction.
*Price does
not include open water checkout dive. It only covers the book, class and pool
sessions

*Open Water dives may be required to become certified in some specialty
areas.
For a reduced rate, you can become an SSI advanced
open water diver and be certified in the following specialties:
Night Diving, Deep Diving, Navigation, Wreck Diving
The cost of the advanced open water diver class is $199. The cost includes
four books and an advanced open water diver certification card from SSI,
once you have completed the required open water dives.
